The famine in Ireland begun when the people in the famine grew there potatoes during winter and summer and they did not grow when they did grow they were rotten so that meant that know one could eat them. So they said its ok we will just see if they grow next winter and summer and they will probably not be rotten. The next winter and summer and all the years they grew but when they grew they were all rotten. . So the people in Ireland in the famine were starving and they all had to buy very expensive oatmeal. Then years later the blight came and mostly everyone in the famine got it and that’s when the real famine started. Years went buy and people were starving Robert Peel donated indian corn (maize).To people who were starving and everyone who was starving and had nothing and they did not have and money to buy expencieve grain.
. People were in workhouses there was more kids there then adults. The men were trying so hard to get jobs to pay for food and to try and live in there own houses not on the street or in workhouses squished hot and especially hungry. The people in the famine were able to get water but no food.
